By creating an account or using TasteDrop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

3. Account Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. The Service

TasteDrop is a platform that:

• Displays restaurant specials and deals from various sources
• Allows users to discover, verify, and share dining specials
• Provides gamification features including points, achievements, and leaderboards
• Offers premium subscriptions and features for users and restaurants

Important Disclaimers:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or validity of any special or deal
• Specials are subject to restaurant terms, availability, and may change without notice
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of restaurant offerings
• Verification by users does not guarantee a special is currently available

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Create multiple accounts or use false identities
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent verifications or reviews
• Manipulate points, achievements, or leaderboard rankings
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or restaurant staff
• Post content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Scrape, collect, or harvest user data without permission
• Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions

6. User Content

You may submit reviews, photos, verifications, and other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content:

• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service
• You represent that you own or have the right to share the content
• You acknowledge that User Content may be visible to other users
• We may remove User Content that violates these Terms without notice
• You retain ownership of your User Content

7. Points and Rewards

TasteDrop offers a gamification system:

• Points are earned through legitimate use of the Service (verifications, check-ins, referrals)
• Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money
• We reserve the right to adjust, remove, or reset points for any reason
• Fraudulent earning of points may result in account termination
• Leaderboard rankings are for entertainment and recognition only
• We may modify the points system at any time without notice

8. Payments and Subscriptions

For paid features:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel subscriptions at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy and applicable law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice
• Failed payments may result in suspension of premium features

9. Restaurant Owners

Restaurant owners who claim or register their establishments agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their restaurant and specials
• Honor specials as advertised on the platform
• Respond to user feedback in a professional manner
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not post false or misleading specials
• Accept responsibility for their employees' use of the platform

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Rahim Kapadia and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• The TasteDrop name, logo, and branding are our trademarks
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent
• Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any specials or deals will be available or honored by restaurants
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruption or computer damage
• Cost of substitute services
• Any damages arising from your use of the Service
• Conduct of third parties, including restaurants

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TasteDrop and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

14. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with us:

• First, contact us at legal@taste-drop.com to attempt informal resolution
• If unresolved after 30 days, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
• Arbitration will be conducted in accordance with AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules
• You waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations
• Small claims court actions are permitted where applicable

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action must be brought in the courts located in Texas.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service:

• Immediately, without notice, for violation of these Terms
• If we believe your actions may cause legal liability
• If we discontinue the Service
• For any reason, with reasonable notice

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.

18. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TasteDrop
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them freely
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our control
